Language Arts:

Primary (50%) - Reading Tests, Unit Assessments, Performance-Based Projects

Secondary (40%) - Word Work Quizzes, Comprehension Checks, Smaller Projects

Supportive (10%) - Homework, Class work (Center Work), Participation

Writing:

Primary (50%) - Process Pieces, Timed Writing Prompts, Research Projects, Grammar Tests

Secondary (40%) - Grammar Quizzes, Shorter Writing/Mini-Lesson Pieces, Reader’s Response Notebook (RRN)

Supportive (10%) - Writer’s Workshop Checkpoints, Skill Pages, Participation

Social Studies:

Primary Assessments (50%) - Tests, Major Projects

Secondary Assessments (40%) - Quizzes, TFKs, Graded Essential Questions

Supportive Assignments (10%) - Homework, Classwork, and Folder Checks

A: 92-100

B: 83-91

C: 74-82

D: 65-73

F: 0-64
