ABOUT MRS. GIANNOTTI

Hello,  My name is Mrs. Giannotti and I am so excited to be your teacher this school year! This fall I will begin my 18th year as a teacher. I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education from Widener University.  I have also earned a Masters in School Counseling from Wilmington University.  I grew up in both Philadelphia and Delaware County, Pennsylvania.  I am the oldest of four children.  I have two brothers and one sister.  When I was younger, I was on my local swim team for many years. I still love to swim to this day.  I knew I wanted to be a teacher since I was three years old.  My nursery school teacher had to have a talk with my mom, because I kept on coming to the front of the classroom to try and teach the class. I want to tell you a little about my family. I have a daughter named Sienna who is entering the 6th grade this school year. My husband Christopher is also in education. He is in his sixth year as a School Administrator.  We also have a dog named Oliver. He is an adorable six year old Havaneese. Oliver is very playful, but he also has a tendency to bark at the rabbits and squirrels in our neighborhood. In my spare time I love to garden, decorate my home, shop, read, and take lots of photos.
